N-Dedecyl-2-Pyrrolidone is used as thickeners and foam stabilizers in shampoos,without need for salt or alkanolamides,it can also be used in hair conditioning agent with mild substantivity,providing body,shine and manageability.It provides synergistic thickening effect when formulated with anionic surfactants in shampoo systems. Helps improve  formulation clarity,Helps stabilize foam in shampoos,Improves uniform absorption of hair dyes by the hair fibre,ensuring evenness of final hair color.N-Dodecyl-2-Pyrrolidone is an effective coupling solvent for fragrances.It provides odor reduction in  thioglycolate  cold  waves.
